It’s the holidays! A time for showing love by giving and receiving gifts.
Ahhhh, but how easily that lovely idea turns into a frantic dash around big box stores, buying more than you should, and not feeling so great about the whole shebang.
Which is why this year I decided to do things differently and purchase the majority of my gifts from small business owners. From my local toy store, and favorite boutiques, to the treasure trove of coaching clients who sell the most beautiful prints, paper, and home goods; this is the best I’ve felt about holiday shopping for a long time!
If you feel moved to do the same, I’d like to share a few of my favorites with you, and they’re ALL past and present clients of mine!
Hurray for the holidays!
Silk Scarves by fashion illustrator, Megan Hess
One of my favorite illustrators (and client in my talent management days) is the wonderful Megan Hess. Not only do I own (and gift) all her books, and have her art work and cushions sprinkled throughout my home, I can often be found adorning one of her gorgeous silk scarves. And lucky you….she just released a new collection today!
Inspired by the couture dresses of Paris. From intricate beading to layers of tulle, iconic suiting and Megan’s favorite French details. These four new designs are Megan’s bespoke illustrations reproduced in the finest silk.
100% ITALIAN SILK TWILL, HAND ROLLED HEM, 90CM x 90CM / 35″ x 35″ and all PRESENTED IN A LINEN COVERED MEGAN HESS BOX
